These can range from devastating heavy attacks to healing spells, invisibility, and more. Every class has a standard ranged attack (even traditionally melee classes), as well as a unique secondary ability. Initially the only class available to you is the wizard, with new classes unlocking upon reaching certain levels as each class. Originally a browser-based flash game, Realm of the Mad God is now a standalone unity app, as of the Exalt update in July 2020.
The game focuses on teamwork, battling many gods and monsters that can't be fought alone. Created for an Assemblee competition, Realm of The Mad God is an MMORPG focused on retro design, from its 8-bit pixel art to its streamlined quest design.
